Today’s heat pumps can do everything your central air system can do — and more. And for less money each month.
Heat pumps provide more even, consistent cooling. That means no temperature fluctuations, bouts of humidity, or warm spots in your house. They also use less electricity, reducing your electric bill, since they work most of the time in a low-speed, low-power mode.
Heat pumps also provide heating for the fall and early spring. You can leave your energy-guzzling gas furnace off for an extra few weeks for more efficient comfort.
We published a podcast episode about heat pumps vs. conventional AC. You can also read about the different heat pump setups and energy efficiency.
